hopper comes alive

Hoppers work has a special place in my heart. The way he used shadows, lights and color to elicit feelings has always hit home for me. How could someone see such ordinary sights and portray them so crisply?

Inspired by all of the recent work in computer vision, I picked some of my favorites and tried to bring them to life with the help of GANs. The research used to inpaint these can be found here.
